What? Restaurant Wilde Zwijnen in Amsterdam
Why? Once a local favorite, but thanks to raving reviews and NY Times articles ‘Wilde Zwijnen’ – in the Eastern part of Amsterdam – is now a well-known restaurant where reservations (marked in chalk on the table) are a must. Unique about this restaurant is the relaxed, rustic atmosphere that makes everyone feel comfortable, combined with impressive dishes for (remarkable!) reasonable prices. I love how they incorporate typical Dutch ingredients in a modern and slightly rough way, and really appreciate the attentive, warm service.
