What? La Chambre aux Confitures, Paris
Why? This lovely shop in the 9th arrondissement sells over hundred kinds of jams, chutneys and marmalades and is a must for every confiture-lover. The enthusiastic owner Lisa sells products made my small producers, with fruit and sugar being the only ingredients. She’s more than willing to let you taste all elegant flavor combinations, like the delicious fragrant rose & strawberries, or the exotic pineapple & coconut.
Must-try? Choosing is extremely difficult! My absolute favorites are the raspberry & champagne (not too sweet, with a subtle luxurious hint of the sparkling drink) and the orange & orange blossom marmalade (with a fresh lemon touch and the lovely aroma of the orange blossom).
