What? Restaurant Radio in Kopenhagen
Why? The restaurateur behind Radio used to work for Noma and the influence of that modern and light Scandinavian cuisine is very notable. Chefs Jesper (also former Noma) and Rasmus use as much local produce as possible and deliver some pretty impressive dishes. Elegant, but urban at the same time. I had the most wonderful caramelized potatoes with smoked cheese foam and sweet beans, and perfectly soft chicken with sweet cabbage and wild garlic. The service is friendly and laid-back and the atmosphere feels stylish but fun. And the prices? Extremely fair for this high quality.
Must-try? Just go for the five courses and trust the chefs.
